Description

Welcome to the 50th Anniversary of Motorcycle Racing at Shannonville Motorsport Park, formerly known as Nelson International Raceway. The vision for a race track began in 1974 when John Nelson purchased the land on Hwy #2 east of Shannonville. On Thanksgiving weekend, 1976 the first race was held. 50 years later RACE Moto is honouring the legend of John Nelson by holding their 2026 race season finale and a racer reunion. The BBQ & Reunion is Saturday, September 26th after racing concludes.

Your choices are as follows (all prices are tax included):

  • Weekend admission $20 — mandatory except RACE Moto & FIM Moto Mini competitors & pit crew
  • Saturday Night BBQ $25 — 5:30 to 7:00
  • Racer Reunion $15 — limited seating, 7:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Ltd Edition 50th Anniversary T-Shirt $40
  • RACER Program — FREE (included)

Note: Unless you are a registered competitor for the weekend you must pay the Gate Admission Fee. You can choose to just attend the BBQ without attending the reunion, or attend the reunion without attending the BBQ. A portion of the proceeds from the T-Shirt sales go to the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
